Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for the Fireman-Driver position, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must hold a Fireman training certificate from a recognized institution and possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. Proficiency in basic computer operations and knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language is also required.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants is set between 18 to 33 years as of August 31, 2024.
There are age relaxations available for candidates from reserved categories as per the government norms.

The application fee for general category candidates is INR 500, while reserved category candidates need to pay INR 400. The fee is non-refundable but will be returned to those who appear for the examination.
