RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 : Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released a notification on 23 December for 22000(Approx.) posts. This notification includes Assistant(Various trades), Pointsman B, Track Maintainer Etc. posts in various Indian Railway Zones. These posts are released under CEN 09/25). Interested candidates can apply for RRB Group D Recruitment 2026. Candidates can apply from 21 January 2026 to 20 February 2026. Through the official website, www.rrbapply.gov.in. Both males and females can apply online for RRB Group D vacancies 2026.
Candidates who have passed 10th Class, ITI, or an equivalent qualification, or who hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT, are eligible to apply for the RRB Group D 2026 Examination.
Age Limit
The age limit for RRB Group D is 18 years to 33 years. For OBC Category candidates maximum age limit is 36 years and 38 years for SC/ST category Candidates.
Minimum Age Limit : 18 Years
Maximum Age Limit : 33 Years
The upper age limit is relaxed up to 36 years for Other Backward Classes(OBC).
The upper age limit is relaxed up to 38 years for SC/ST.
The recruitment process of Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) Group D will be done through phases listed below:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): This test will assess candidates’ knowledge in subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET is designed to evaluate candidates’ physical fitness and includes activities such as running, long jump, and high jump.
Medical Examination: A medical examination will be conducted to assess candidates’ overall health and fitness for the post.
Document Verification: This stage is conducted to verify the accuracy of the information and documents submitted by the candidates during the application process.
