The Indian Meteorological Department tweeted an update on the cyclone that is “Cyclonic storm “Biparjoy” over east-central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea at 0230 IST of 07 June near lat 12.5°N and lon 66.0°E, about 900km WSW of Goa. Likely to move nearly northwards and intensify into SCS during the next 06 hours.
So according to the weather department, The Indian Meteorological Department, and the Internet, it is reported that the Biparjoy is currently showing its effect somewhere in between over the east-central Arabian Sea and adjoining areas of the west-central & southeast Arabian Sea.
In these areas, the speed of wind is high, and the weather department has also highlighted these areas. It is also reported that this time the cyclone is coming to the North Indian zone.
Cities that are reported to come in the most affected parts due to the cyclone effect are Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala, to experience high-speed wind because Indian Meteorological Department issued a wind warning for the next five days to the southwestern states.
And it is also recorded in the IMD statement on Tuesday that a depression over the southeast Arabian Sea and south of Porbandar in Gujarat is likely to move northwestward and intensify into a cyclonic storm. So all the people who live in that areas are advised to stay in safer places so that they can be protected from the cyclonic effects.
The speed of the Biparjoy Cyclone was reportedly calculated at between 115-125 kmph blow to 140 kmph from the evening by the Indian Meteorological Department. But now the latest update has been generated that severe conditions have been created in weather and sea due to the storm can take the wind speed to 135-145 kmph bursting to 160 kmph in the next three-four days.
